There are Four reasons why Bill Gates was so successful
Bill Gates is an American software developer and business
tycoon who co-founded Microsoft in 1975 with his friend Paul Allen, an American technology company specializing in computer software development. Its success is not a coincidence, but the result of many years of hard work and hard work. "Success is a bad teacher. It tempts wise people to believe they can't lose," Bill Gates wrote in his 1996 book The Road Ahead
1.
Passion Bill Gates has been passionate about technology and programming since he was in
the 8th grade.
A few years before other schools had access to computers, the Mothers
Club at the Bill Gates school purchased and had access to the Teletype Model 33. With Bill Gates' passion for computers, he wanted to know more about software and hardware and worked on troubleshooting school computers.
2. 2nd Learn through practice The school was equipped with other equipment, including a mainframe computer called the PDP-10, owned by Computer Center Corporation (CCC). Students, including Bill Gates, later broke the computer's security system, resulting in a ban on the system. After the ban, Bill Gates, accompanied by three friends, suggested to CCC to find software bugs to spend more time on the computer, which CCC agreed. Bill Gates and his friends worked to help the CCC find the bug. The experience they gained in computer languages has allowed them to master programming. Bill Gates has honed his skills through
3. Decision-making At the
age of 17, Bill
Gates felt it was time to make a decision about his passion, programming. Following his passion,
he and his best friend and partner Paul Allen founded Traf-O-Data, a company specializing in traffic counting systems and reporting for traffic technicians. Bill Gates and Paul Allen approached MITS to
develop an emulator that runs on a minicomputer that implements the computer language BASIC. At that time, they founded the startup Microsoft. Starting a new business was a big risk, but smart timing and business planning helped Gates and Allen.
4 Hard work In 1980, Microsoft's sales were unpredictable, and the company was
on a tight budget and couldn't hire a sales manager. At this point, Bill Gates retired from Harvard and worked for Microsoft. The couple broke up with MITS and decided to focus solely on Microsoft and worked to improve its products
and services. Microsoft's turning point was when it licensed an operating
system called MS-DOS for use
on IBM's personal computer, the computer giant of the time. This makes Microsoft the world's
largest provider of operating systems. Microsoft continued to develop its products and released Microsoft Office in 1990.
